Its been quite an experience. To think i was still living in my own small world, there are smthings which i hvnt really seen it with my own eyes yet. And it was refreshing, not really to the extent of 'dirty pleasure', but just simple fun and enjoyment. To see everyone let your hair down, and erm, be conservative, was quite a sight. Of course, i did ntg.

The past week was quite a different week for me, cos i had to do extra planning and learn my role as an ic. And along the way, it made me realise again how hard is it to be a leader again. Really.

And sumhow, we really hate the 2359 system. Its been sounded off, made light upon, and we havnt really gotten a fair answer with regards to it. The worst was when the stupid and useless 'some country's foreign warship was the size of our missile gunboat and had less than 50 people in it, and we had to secure 2359. REALLY! THE HIGHER UPS ARE STARTING TO GROW GRASS ON THEIR HEADS!

Smtimes, its really the men whom know whats best for us. Yes, we might keep asking for more, but what we feel as being reasonable we try to fight for it. After all, its us who are sweating out there in our lbvs, putting up with inconsiderate people's behaviour, and doing ungodly hours, unbelievable sai kang, and just a measly man pay, with very few benefits and welfare being given to us.

And smtimes, what do officers know? They just talk talk talk, but u dont see them in action, i mean, they never mount 7 days with us, but they make it seem that its an easy feat, and give unreasonable orders to us smtimes. Not saying of all, i mean our own pc tried to fight for us, but yet got scolded. Smtimes i would die for such people, but u ask me to die for some other irrational bastards, they would probably send you to die, without trying to explain, and you would die without you knowing, NEEDLESSLY.

And thats what we call, a fucked up officer. In war times, i wont listen to such people. Cos he might not even know what hes doing.

Really, try to know more abt the men, and our needs, instead of just being there blabbering and blabbering.

And yesterday, it made me feel that, my heart had never left you before. That sense of emptiness, feels like insomnia.
