Yes SA Serahs thank all supporters hu specially came down, esp soccer boys and Mr chay and most of all, TEAM SPECTRUM. The fact is we didnt disappoint ourselves, but is sorry if we ever disappointed u all with the results.
And thank Gabriel so MUCH. I will miss u squeezing my butt and tits. Esp singing My Love with loving eyes, to the digust of our fellow schmates hu are peeing while we are in the toilet.
The fact we won the best chereography award just meant that chaang's clubbing moves moved the judges!
and i am abit lazy, so i decided to kope what nellie said about the comp and with regards to our seniors and our coaches.
so you may have heard. we got the merit award, which is 4th and at the same time last in our category. people who weren't there have no right to judge us or criticize us because you werent there to witness how much we wanted it and how much effort we put in just for this comp.so SHUT UP abt the team sa shirt, SHUT UP abt us being lousy and not up to standard, and lastly, SHUT UP abt us getting last! we've gone through intense trainings these months and maybe it was your loss that you werent there to watch us. or maybe to you,it wasnt. whatever the case, if you werent there, you have NO RIGHT to laugh/mock/criticize us.
on a side note:to the teammates, i want to say its been an honour training with you guys and even though our name was called out for being 4th and denvers was laughing at us. i still believe that no one was responsible for us not winning anything.we win as a team, and we lose as a team. we stay tog as a team! we risked our lives and basically every bone and muscle in our body that could possibly cause us to be injured or worse still, paralysed . but we still went on, having faith in our bases and all our other team mates. it was that trust that brought us this far and it was our team spirit that brought us to the comp ground. i wanted to cry when we were given the merit award, but i thought to myself that its not about the award.its about how far we've come, how many friendships we've forged, how many injuries we've suffered even til this day. i wanna say you guys have been amazing and i couldnt have been in a better team.
to chaang (who we'll have little chances of seeing again), having you as our coach was the miracle we could ask for. you trained us and put our perseverance to the test and despite you hurling vulgarities,giving us ridiculous nicknames and also throwing yr temper,anger, frustration around, our respect for you has not wavered at all. you made us come this far and most importantly, tried to convert the innocent and holy ones haha.so we just wanna say thankyou :)
to kangjun (and the others), you've been really ENCOURAGING and sometimes thats what a team needs:encouragement(esp kangjun) we rarely hear vulgarities and in a way, its comforting ahha since we've all gotten so used to chaang's lingo.kangjun has moved me by not giving up on my singleX ahha even though i was undergoing alot of emotional trauma from the fall.he still believed that i could do it, right from the beginning till the end. even though i was wobbly on the comp day, you made me overcome my fear somehow and i really appreciate it.and to kahsian(SP), chongyan(i spelt yr name correctly), lawrence and wenfeng! you guys were there for us and we really appreciate it too :D
Well besides that, i got my own small thoughts too.
On a not so bright note, if u all didnt noticed. I think u all might disagree with me and even label me as a traitor i dont know. So possibly u can try not to read the below parts. But i know u all will read also haha nvm. Take it with a pinch of salt dudes.
After the performance, i got a gut feeling that we wld end up 4th. Not saying that we did badly and not to our standards, the fact is we did perform to the standards expected. We did not disappoint our hard work that we have put in. But the rest of the teams had more experience than us and they had almost all stunts up. Plus the fact they had bigger stunts than us, yes so what if they have bigger stunts i know, but the fact is they have, which is a plus point for them in the judging criteria. but also not forgetting they all trained much much much longer than us and we are a team which shld not be even considered having a history. If its history, than let this finals be our first milestone. We gave our best, and thats the most important. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, is really nothing. Like what chaang said, if we had won magnum force, it wld have been a biggest hooha in the cheerleading arena. Some of us might say that some teams do not deserve what they get, but i guess from their performances, we have to admit they do to an extent.
2ndly, i know our team was rather dejected after receiving the merit award cos we all expected more. But we must understand, that we trained hard, the rest of the teams also trained as hard or even harder. But i was rather sad or disappointed to see the whole team's morale down when we were collecting our prize and looking at others collecting theirs. The fact is, we didnt cheered for the rest hu went up to take their prizes after us. I didnt know if denvers purposely laughed at us, or if adastra even actually told us/me, 'good job guys!', while in a way mocking us. No matter what, i thot we were not gracious enough to accept the fact at that point of time. The fact that adastra cheered for denvers and even stood up to cheer for magnum when they received the prize, while we just sat there silently, just showed that we are lacking a sense to graciousness. I guess maybe we are just a young team and not really good in reacting to adverse situations. Not trying to speak ill of the team, i guess this is an area that we can work on in the future. eh but small thing la haha.
I thot congyan was quite good-looking yest. haha.
